Who Invented Excavator?
The excavator, as we know it today, was invented by Sir William Smith Otis in the early 19th century. Otis, an American industrialist, designed and patented the first steam-powered excavating machine in 1835. His invention revolutionized the construction industry and became the foundation for the modern excavators we use today.
