How to get an excavator license in QLD?


To obtain an excavator license in Queensland (QLD), follow these steps:

  1. Enroll in a registered training organization (RTO) offering excavator operator courses.
  2. Complete the necessary theoretical and practical training modules.
  3. Pass the assessment tests and obtain a statement of attainment.
  4. Apply for a high-risk work (HRW) license through the Queensland Government website.
  5. Submit the required documentation and pay the applicable fees.
  6. Attend a license induction session and receive the excavator license.
