How to check hydraulic oil level on Komatsu excavator?


To check the hydraulic oil level on a Komatsu excavator, follow these steps:

  • Locate the hydraulic oil tank, usually positioned near the operator’s seat.
  • Remove the cap or dipstick from the tank.
  • Wipe the dipstick clean and reinsert it into the tank without screwing it.
  • Remove the dipstick again and check the oil level. It should be within the specified range.
  • If needed, add or drain oil to maintain the proper level.
